What is the Friends of Wasatch Mountain State Park?

In 1998, the Friends of Wasatch Mountain State Park, known as The Friends was established as a non-profit 501(3)(c) organization for the purpose of promoting, providing financial assistance, and volunteer support to Wasatch Mountain State Park in Midway Utah.

he Friends Mission clearly defines our focus and establishes the criteria we consider when offering financial support. Since  our inception, The Friends have made significant contributions to Wasatch Mountain State Park in accordance with this Mission.

       Our Mission

To preserve and protect the historical and ecological integrity of Wasatch Mountain State Park through public awareness and education and to promote the development of responsible  recreational opportunities and facilities for present and future generations.     

Wasatch Mountain State Park, in beautiful Heber Valley, is both a summer and winter destination. The Park has camping, hiking, biking, golfing, cross country skiing, snowmobiling and much more.
