August 2: Wasatch County Fair Days (Heber City): Friends of Wasatch
will have a float in the annual county fair parade. We need volunteers to design/construct the float and also to ride on it. Contact Carol Link at 435-657-2115 or Katy White at 435-654-1047 if

August 30: Swiss Days (Midway): Friends of Wasatch will have a float
in the annual Swiss Days parade. We need volunteers to design/construct the float and also to ride on it. Contact Carol Link at 435-657-2115 or Katy White at 435-654-1047 if you would like to participate.

Friends of Wasatch Mountain State Park Annual Fundraiser: "An Evening in the Country"

The Friends of Wasatch Mountain State Park will hold our second annual fall fundraiser, "An Evening in the Country," on September 20, 2008. In synergy with last year's Huber Grove Trail project, funds will be raised to add a picnic pavilion and amphitheatre to the historic Huber
Grove. The evening at the Soldier Hollow Chalet in Midway will include live entertainment, silent auction, dinner, and dancing. Formal invitations will be sent in mid-summer to members, but the event is open to the public. Seating is limited; based on the successful and
sold out response to last year's fundraising event, an early reservation is recommended. Tickets are $45 per person. For reservation information, contact Carol Link, 435-657-2115
