Full Moon Snowshoe Hike
Last Winter’s Fun

Snowshoe Hikes:
Every year the Friends sponsor our traditional moonlight snowshoe hikes. These take place on the Friday evening closest to the full moon in January, February, and (snow and weather conditions permitting) March. This is a great time to get out for a little winter exercise, possibly some winter wildlife watching, and a steaming cup of hot chocolate or apple cider in front of the great stone fireplace in the Park Visitor Center. Novice and expert snowshoers alike find this an invigorating and enjoyable event.
